Fastest RC Racing Cars

Wanting to know the fastest RC racing cars? Of course you do and you wish to own one (as I desperately want it too!). Team Associated gets the spot to claim having to produce the world's fastest RC racing cars and it doesn't stop there, with Nic Case (an RC enthusiast who had set several RC world speed record holder) they are pushing their way to develop fast RC cars that can go beyond 200 mph.

Previous records for the fastest RC cars are that of Team Associated. Currently, other RC car brands are making to way to also share the spot with TA. Here is a short list in ascending order:

  • 105 mph driver by George Estere using a modified Team Associated's Dragster L3 Oval Racer 2
  • 111 mph set by Team Associated's L3 Oval Racer
  • 134.4 mph driven by Nic Case using another modified Team Associated's Nitro TC3
  • 161.76 mph again driven by Nic Case using a modified Team Associated's Schumacher MI3. The modified fast RC car has a carbon fiber body and some $4000 worth of other modifications. Both Case and Team Associated are pursuing to create a much faster machine aimed to break the 200 mph barrier - the Streamliner

Though these machines maybe clocking at very high speed, beginners can still get a good and fast rc car for quite a bargain for their money. Tamiya, Traxxas, Nikkos, Kyosho, HPI, and other brands are some of the best RC race cars readily available in the market.

Aside from the usual RC electric cars, Nitro cars also proved the race grounds for high speed. More and more RC enthusiasts are eyeing to get these cars specially that of Team Associated's and HPI. Brands really don't matter with RC toys, it is the modification. You can change your favorite RC car's motor, body, wheels, suspensions, and a lot more parts. With right modification and suitable setup for your RC car (whether its for off-road or on-road race like RC drifting), you can outperform any other racing RC cars out there. Building the fastest racing cars require a lot of investment and it means a lot of money - which is undoubtedly reasonable!
